Bio

After completing an Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and International Development Studies at McGill University, Matt worked for one year at two nongovernmental organisations (NGOs), collaborating with private enterprises to integrate GHG emission accounting into key performance indicators and implementing long-term sustainability strategies centred around employee engagement.
Retuning to McGill in 2013, Matt is pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Renewable Resources. Within this field, Matt is interested in the complex and challenging relationship between economic growth, natural resource extraction and environmental preservation, critically analysing neoclassical economic approaches to environmental issues in his research.
Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Matt also has work and academic experience in the United States, France, Singapore and Canada.
