Bio
_ Josée is one part researcher, one part strategist, and one part explorer. Having embraced interdisciplinarity
as more than a buzzword, her passion lies in approaching complex problems from more than one angle.
Josée
attended the University of Calgary as an undergraduate, where she
earned a degree in Environmental Science (Honours). She then worked for
the City of Calgary for two years,
designing and implementing environmental policies on topics ranging
from biofuels to climate change. After taking some time off to learn
Spanish and explore the Amazon rainforest, Josée moved to Montreal and
began her MSc. in the Department of Natural Resource
Sciences, in conjunction with the McGill School of Environment.
She is now putting the final touches on her thesis while also working full-time with McGill’s Office of Sustainability. As a data strategist for Vision 2020 (mcgillvision2020.com), Josée has led the design and delivery of workshops and community events in an effort to create a Sustainability Strategy for and from the community.
