Harriet Kim

BACK
Harriet is in her last semester of her undergraduate degree with a major in Water Environment and Ecosystems, and a minor in International Development Studies. Her studies have fostered a keen interest local food systems, transformative environmental education, and global health. After going to Haiti in the summer of 2011, she also developed a strong love for Haiti. Consequently, when she joined the research group, she decided to work on a systematic review of the academic literature on the main forces and the political economy of American foreign aid to Haiti. In the future, she would like to pursue a career in early childhood environmental education.
